James Comblo is a Partner at Prosperity Capital Advisors, where he helps shape the firm’s vision for the future. He specializes in helping high-income professionals, business owners, and entrepreneurs make strategic decisions around equity compensation, stock options, concentrated stock positions, and tax-efficient strategies to help preserve and grow their wealth.

Education & Experience

James is a Certified Financial Fiduciary® and a Bucket Plan Certified® advisor. In his role, he helps build and maintain Prosperity’s tactical portfolios and reviews client accounts to help ensure each strategy remains aligned with the client’s goals, needs, and overall financial picture. In addition to working closely with executives and high-earning professionals to help them navigate complex compensation benefits, James also leads research and development initiatives focused on improving client outcomes, creating greater operational efficiency, and enhancing the overall client experience.

As an experienced financial planner and the father of three daughters, James is passionate about helping women feel more confident and prepared when it comes to their personal finances. He has seen firsthand how meaningful financial literacy can be at every stage of life, and helping to empower women on the path to financial freedom has become one of the most fulfilling parts of his work.

Outside the office, James’ life revolves around his family: his wife, Marina, and daughters Gabby, Lia, and Scarlett. He is also a sports fanatic and an avid reader, averaging around 30 books a year.
