Kai Prior uses his expertise to assist our IARs and RIA partners in creating dynamic portfolios and showcasing the innovative solutions of Prosperity Capital Advisors (Prosperity) and the Valor Capital Management platform.

After receiving a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Oklahoma, Kai gained industry experience as a private client banker, where he served clients’ banking, financial planning, and investment needs. Kai holds his Series 6, Series 63, and Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) certifications.

In his current roles as Investment Associate and Investment Committee Member, Kai helps advisors with case design and conducts detailed analyses and proposals of client portfolios. Advisor education and support are cornerstones of Kai’s position. He teaches our affiliates about the Valor platform’s offerings in addition to providing ongoing investment advice, such as how to leverage our customized SMAs to serve high-net-worth clients.

Kai also maintains Prosperity’s marketing materials — covering markets, third-party money managers, and model portfolios — ensuring all advisors have the latest information and client-facing resources.

When not helping advisors and their clients, Kai can be found spending time with his fiancée, Sharlene, and their son, Theo, at their home in Dallas, Texas. In his spare time, he also enjoys watching football and taking in F1 races.
